My first extended stay in Haugesund gave me time to explore its Viking history and shoreline. Back in Skånevik, I settled into the rhythms of spring in the garden, on the trails, and along the fjord.

I first visited Bergen in 2019, and since then, it’s become a place I always look forward to returning to.

Spending my third Christmas in Norway, I leaned into Bergen’s winter lights, familiar traditions, and the small joys that bring warmth in the dark season.

What was intended to be one month in the Balkans turned into four, and I return to Norway with new lessons and perspective.

My short trip to the capital included Vigeland Sculpture Park, the MUNCH Museum, and a chance to see the city’s blend of history and modern design.
